Catonsville, MD - Danielle and Victor - Edgy Backyard Wedding

Danielle and Victor's wedding day occurred on October 8th with hurricane Matthew was hitting the East Coast. I firmly believe that rain can't dampen love and that was evident on Danielle and Vic's special day. Let me tell you about this wedding. Danielle and Victor are one of the nicest and laid back couples. Their families were beaming with joy and love (which definitely provided it's own level of sunshine on a cloudy day which was so wonderful to witness). The ceremony and reception were held at Victor's parent's property, right on the edge of Patapsco State Park. Danielle's dress and choice of details were beautiful - and so unique! There are very few people who can pull off a black lace wedding dress but Danielle did it effortlessly and SHE IS STUNNING. Danielle and Vic were able to sneak away into the forest with me for a few portraits and it reminded me of the Snow White fairy-tale. I asked Danielle to share a little bit if her and Vic's love story. Here it is with some of my favorites from their day and a bonus video!

"Vic and I knew each other in high school and graduated in the same class. We never kept in touch or anything but nine years later Facebook brought us back together. Vic asked me to meet him out with friends and I unfortunately made the mistake of not going. Only a few months later I was dog sitting for my mom and happened to see Vic running up her street. Still having his number from months before, I texted him and said “Looking good Mr. Vega”. After that we went out on a few dates and then started to become Inseparable, then he and my boxer Ellie became inseparable. The three of us would sit and listen to music and chat and laugh for hours. We would go on hikes and vacations and the three of us became a family. I had my tonsils taken out after a few months of dating, and that’s when I knew it was true love. Despite my drooling and not being able to swallow my own spit and being not so nice, Vic came to see me on his lunch breaks and he slept in a chair all week just to sleep next to me because I was in so much pain. Not only did he accept me at my meanest and ugliest he also accepted my sometimes naughty girl Ellie as his own."
