2019 Behind The Scenes | Maryland Wedding Photographer
What a year 2019 has been! I know I say it constantly, but I am absolutely blessed to have the BEST job as a Baltimore and Annapolis Wedding Photographer! Being a part of capturing the biggest moments in your lives is something so special for me, so I scoured my image catalogs from this year to share a special behind the scenes post today! One regret that I have is that I wish I had more photos WITH my clients and a few more of my assistants in action as well. Definitly a goal for 2020!
If there is one thing I have learned this year it is that, to be successful at almost ANYTHING requires a team. From my husband, family, and friends being so emotionally supportive, bouncing ideas off of industry friends, hiring a virtual assistant who has helped me for 2 hours per week throughout this year(Thank you Melissa!), outsourcing editing as needed (always helps my sanity and my couples with getting their perfect memories back so quickly!), not to mention all of my wonderful 2nd photographers and assistants who provided hands on wedding day help. Its crazy to me to see how far this business has come and I can't wait to see how it continues to grow!
This year took me to some unexpected places....
...because I'll go where I need to in order to get "the shot". There were a few highs...
and some "lows" with lots of new friends...
(aka, a TON of crouching!)
and just a tiny bit of sitting...
There was some running and dancing with my team...
...as they generally endured my test shots and the two times we remembered to take a selfie...
But we never lost track of who it was all about...
YOU!
