Today’s blog post is the perfect snuggly, adorable start to your day as it involves cuddles, a beautiful baby girl and a wonderful family. I remember meeting with Lindsay to catch up over charcuterie at Sip at C Street Cafe two years ago. It was a few years since we had connected and we chatted about life, goals, and dreams. Through our abundance of conversation, Lindsay shared a little bit about her desire to have a baby and some of the difficulties involved, which is one of the reasons I was so excited to find out a few months later that she and Luke were pregnant!
Lindsay is a wonderful photographer herself and I was ecstatic when she reached out to me to schedule a lifestyle newborn session in their home. Their sweet baby girl, Emerie Joy, was born in late October and it was so precious to watch Lindsay and Luke interacting with her! After taking a few photos in the nursery, they all curled up together on the couch while Luke played guitar. Lindsay said that after bringing Emerie home, this was one of their favorite things to do - resting, snuggling, drinking coffee, and enjoying life together as a new family of 3.
