Morningside Inn Fall Wedding | Beth Ann and Brandon | Frederick Wedding Photographer

As a Maryland wedding photographer (a place where the winters *can be* cold (although we've had a few mild winters the last few year), this time of year is a great time to catch up on blog posts and behind-the-scenes work in my business. I’m excited to share finally share a few favorites from Beth Ann and Brandon’s Morningside Inn wedding from October!

Beth Ann and I got to know each other a little better this past June as we served the community of Jacmel, Haiti on an impact trip through our church. During the preparation and on the trip, the team knew that Beth Ann and her (then) boyfriend Brandon were in a very serious relationship and a proposal was coming. The week after we returned from the trip(I think it was even THAT WEEKEND), during a hike Brandon asked Beth Ann to marry him, and of course, she said yes! They are both laid back people and wanted to have a relaxed celebration but also knew that they did not want to have a lengthy engagement. Beth Ann and Brandon both love fall and the outdoors which made getting married in Frederick in October a perfect option.

When the wedding day arrived, it was full of sunshine, fall leaves, and blue sky. I loved seeing the warmth of the guests, many of which I know personally, as everyone arrived to celebrate. Morningside Inn conveniently has two getting ready areas (for both the bride and groom) so that it was a simple matter of walking out to the ceremony space when the time was right. When the “You May Now Kiss Your Bride” moment came, Beth Ann was NOT shy during the first kiss and they were absolutely BEAMING as the walked back down the aisle! The reception announcements were also memorable as everyone had fun with their entrances, which included Brandon picking up Beth Ann before carrying her to their seats! There was joy throughout the day and a perfectly relaxed atmosphere that fit Beth Ann and Brandon.
