I’m excited to share Hillary and Kurt’s Downtown Annapolis engagement session today! Kurt is a police officer in Baltimore city and Hillary works at a financial firm in Towson. They met online and will be getting married next June at Running Hare Vineyard! Before their engagement session, Hillary shared with me that Kurt has a reputation of not smiling during photos and so my goal during their session was to get Kurt to smile. The weather was perfect as we headed downtown. Trying to avoid the crowds of people enjoying the historic area (and the great weather), we walked up to the Maryland State Capital Building while the sun was still high and found some wonderful spots, including a beautiful pink crepe myrtle tree. On our way back towards the water, Hillary and Kurt stopped at Kilwins for ice cream cones (adorable AND delicious). The perfectly soft blues and pinks surrounded Downtown Annapolis as the sunset and we finished the session. I find it adorable that during the session and my attempts at getting Kurt to smile, he smiled the most when he was looking at Hillary.
