As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love it when my couples continue to trust me with photographing their milestones and today is no exception! Last fall, I had the honor of photographing Stephanie and Michael’s wedding at Liberty Mountain Resort and when Stephanie reached out about their first year anniversary photos, I was so excited to see them again! We talked through location options and Stephanie chose Kinder Farm Park for their session. Stephanie and Michael celebrated their anniversary with a trip to the Bahamas and came back the day before the session. The sky SHOWED UP and the wind did too! I texted Stephanie to see if she wanted to reschedule as there had been 40mph winds throughout the day but decided to move forward and brave the gusts! You wouldn’t guess from the photos that the wind was so strong so I definitely think it was worth it in the end. Throughout the session,we talked about how they had been since last year, laughed together about their mini honeymoon to the Poconos (we’ve both been to the same resort and it's definitely an experience!) and Michael shared that he started his own business as a mechanic this year!
