Liberty Mountain Wedding | Sarah+Christian | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

Christian and Sarah met at Penn State and have been dating for 7 years- mostly long distance due to Christian being in the military. 2016 was a big year for Sarah and Christian as they got engaged AND purchased a home in Laurel, MD. They chose Liberty Mountain Resort in Fairfield, Pennsylvania as their wedding venue as they fell in love with the lodge, being outdoors, and the ability for family and friends to stay close by at the resort. Sarah, Christian, and their friends were ready to enjoy the day and we knew that they were ready for some fun when we did a “mannequin challenge” as they were getting ready! Sarah's gown had a special pocket sown in where Sarah placed her grandparents wedding bands which they gifted to her. Sarah’s three flower girls also had fun jumping on the bed and snuggling up to Sarah as her hair was done. The bridesmaids wore varied shades of peach and the groomsmen looked sharp in their gray suits. Even during the bridal party portraits, music played in the background and smiling faces were everywhere. Although Maggie, Sarah and Christian’s shih tzu, wasn’t able to be at the wedding, she made an appearance in their engagement portraits that surrounded the delicious wedding cake. The lodge is a mix of rustic elegance with vaulted ceilings with large windows that poured in light and and framed the mountain along with a wrap around porch where guests chatted, soak in the summer night air as the music played inside and the celebration continued into the night.
