Lindsay and Devin | Rawlings Conservatory Engagement | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

Baltimore Engagement Session

You know that feeling when you meet someone and you just click? That’s how I feel about so many of my couples and Lindsay and Devin are no different! I met Lindsay when she was a bridesmaid at Julius and Tasha’s Oxon Hill Manor wedding in 2017. This was such a great group of friends and everyone did so well even through the ups and downs of a spring wedding with surprise April rain showers. I was so excited when Lindsay reached out to me last year about her own engagement and wedding plans for this coming August at the Wylder Hotel in Tilghman Island, MD.

Initially, Lindsay had not planned to do an engagement session since she and Devin live out of state, but I am so glad that they chose to do the session when they were in town on December 2nd. This was my first time meeting Devin but it did not take long for the laughter and joking to start rolling! Lindsay and Devin loved spending time in Fell’s Point when they used to live in Baltimore and it was a perfect choice for their session. Because of the iffy weather forecast, we started the session at Rawling’s Conservatory before heading to Fell’s. Rawling’s is a magical gem in the heart of Baltimore which I can’t imagine getting tired of shooting and the beautiful contrast between the lush foliage there and the brick pier at Fell’s made the perfect combination for Lindsay and Devin.

When we arrived at Fell’s, I shared with Lindsay and Devin my excitement for all the birds and my personal goal to get some in their photos! (Trees and birds are my jam!) We had a lot of fun, may misses with the birds, and a few hits too!! (The first photo above was in the top 10% of the Shoot and Share contest this year!) Take a look at a few favorites from Lindsay and Devin’s engagement session!
