Elegant Rolling Roads Golf Club Wedding | Michaela+DJ | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

This time last year, Michaela was graduating from college and starting to plan her wedding. It's amazing what one year will bring and as we celebrate Thanksgiving this week in the US, I am so grateful for all of the blessings I've had this year. One in particular being the amazing couples I've met and had the privilege of capturing their wedding days. Michaela and DJ were married on October 14th at Rolling Roads Golf Club. DJ loves golf and this course is in close proximity to where DJ grew up, just a few of the reasons why this was the perfect spot for their wedding. On the way over to the club, I remember listening to Say You Won’t Let Go By James Arthur which happened to be the song Michaela and DJ danced their first dance to! Just as I arrived, the overcast skies started to clear and sunshine poured onto the course. Michaela was so calm, but also so excited to get ready and see DJ! She was a picture of elegance throughout the day (but didn't hesitate to break it down on the dance floor!). Before the first look, they exchanged the vows they had written for the other to read. It's no secret that I am all for happy tears on wedding days and there were many moments where I could tell DJ was fighting back the tears as he looked at Michaela - especially as she walked down the aisle to become his bride. Their wedding day was elegant, sweet and beautiful and Michaela & DJ, I am so thankful to have had the privilege of capturing your love together, and the love of your family and friends who traveled from around the world for your day!
