I truly believe that anyone who planned or is planning a wedding in 2020 deserves a badge of honor. A roller-coaster ride is an understatement but can I say, it is SO WORTH IT. Elise and Nick's Rosewood Farms wedding was nothing short of magical and they deserved nothing less! You can just tell by how many tears of joy fell from their family and bridal party - these two are LOVED and care so deeply for others, it was easy for everyone to reflect that joy back on them!
Because of a friendly hurricane and impending rain, we moved up the timeline to make sure we could fit in as many rain-free portraits outside as we could and so everyone scrambled to get ready a little sooner than was originally planned. Sara Reynolds and her team kept everything moving along smoothly and Elise was able to have ALL the first looks - one with her bridesmaids, with her father, and finally with Nick. Having your bridesmaids see you in your gown all at once is one of my favorite things!!
This was my first time photographing a wedding at Rosewood Farms and it was such a lovely location, inside and out! From the beautiful rustic barn (all white!) decorated with florals by Splints and Daisies, the lovely getting ready spaces filled with natural light, and the pond surrounded by trees giving the best hints of fall. If you tried to make me fit a favorite moment from Elise and Nick's day, I truly couldn't do it! All of the moments watching Nick and Elise interact and be themselves, so filled with joy, laughter (and a bit of goofiness) was truly priceless. Like the cliche adage says, "a picture says a thousand words" so here are MANY highlights from their day! Wishing you all of the incredible joy and love as you enter this new chapter together!!!
