Tori + Adam | Sugarloaf Mountain Portraits | Frederick Wedding Photographer
On a cloudy day last December, I met with Tori and Adam to capture their engagement portraits at Sugarloaf Mountain near Frederick, Maryland! I had previously spoken with Tori over the phone and discussed their wedding which is coming up this September at Whitehall Manor in Bluemont, Virginia but this was our first time meeting in person! Tori and Adam met in college and became friends before officially pursuing a relationship together. They are originally from New York but moved to Washington D.C. to pursue their careers. During their session, they braved the short but chilly hike up to the top of the mountain and we chatted about their wedding plans, hiking, and life in general. Let me tell you, balancing on rocks in heels is no easy feat but Tori managed to make it look easy (with some help from Adam :-D). They couldn’t help smiling when they looked at each other while curled up together waiting for the sun to set. Although the sunset was mostly obscured by the clouds on this occasion, Sugarloaf Mountain is still a favorite for engagement sessions! Congratulations Tori and Adam on your engagement session and I can’t wait to take your wedding portraits in September!
